MF65 multi power

I'm part way through restoring an MF 65. The engine is all done so my attention is now focused on the rear end. I've rebuilt the top cover and replaced the hydraulic pump but I cannot source a replacement anywhere. Any idea's? I wondered about trying to fit an MF 35X type, but not sure whether this is possible ??

Not sure what you mean........You say you have replaced the hyd pump but can't source a replacement......?? Is it the multi power pump you mean?

Yes I've replaced the hydraulic pump but the multi power pump, that fits on a bracket on top, is unobtainable it seems.

Have you tried a MF dealer? Just looked on the Agco parts book and it seems to be available........Or at least it doesn't say it isn't..........

Yes, I've tried our MF dealer, they can't help and no spurious companies make them.

What make is the pump? There were at least 2 different manufacturers

The MF part number is 884535M91. I tried it in Whitehouse's search and no luck......

wondered if the old pump would be repairable?? If so I bet it would be at a hefty price

yeah that looks like a pump off a 165. Not the same single port as a 65.

He is just a couple of miles from here me, the last time that pump was mentioned he said its a Cessna pump and he, d no joy finding one . To the op ,is the original pump worn out ? mine had no Multi power when it came ,turned out it was the pipe through the top of the gearbox that was slack . Its not a particularly high pressure that they operate at I,d need to check the book 400/500 psi I think .

230 psi I was told

Is there any reason a axuncillury pump off a bigger tractor wouldn't fit ? After all very little changed in the back end from the Fe 35 to the last 4300

hopefully I can fit one off a bigger/newer tractor,providing the output will be ok
