Cubicle bedding machines Ag Alternative

We have an Ag Dispenser 175 i think, which works really well we have on the front of the manitou.

The manitou has now come up to renew, but i dont really want to spoil the machine scratching it coming in and out of the building ( a little tight) and running around in the dust. The Manitou is also super busy at bedding time and an additional machine would add flexibility.

The purpose built bedding machines are very expensive, as are bobcats ect since bedding the cows is the only real use i have for an extra machine.

My questions is does anyone have an Ag dispenser mounted to a different machine, like a litte forklift for example

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/fork-lift...550e818&pid=100005&rk=3&rkt=6&sd=361864627706

I know nothing about them, would they run the hydraulics on the Ag? My yeards are good and the concrete flat so it should manage that?

Any comments?

We are generally trying to have less engines on farm not more. If the Manitou is busy feeding and the scraper tractor busy scraping, do you have enough bodies to do all 3 at the same time anyway?

Tight passages are a constant issue. I would go with the walk behind rather than buy an industrial forklift. How would it go on slippery sufaces? It wont like any kind of inclines either.

Qbed bedding machines and you'll wonder why you bothered with a ag! We've had them all ag then bobman and now Qbed, the saving on bedding alone pays for the Qbed if you want some pics let me know
Just had a look at website and am impressed. Where'd you get yours and what sort of moneys in them?

Cost 11k 2years ago, like the bobman but fully galved,it's a far better machine than the bobman!! Bed twice a day and can brush and bed as fast as you can run!milk quality and scc improved since we've had it! Awesome machine probably pay for it's self in 2/3years any other questions?

Use a ride on lawnmower as a silage pusher, do you think it'd be possible to alter the scraper to do the silage aswell?
Ps auto scrapers so don't need the scraper really.
