2ND INSTALMENT OF BASIC PAYMENT

Received a communication log from Rural Payments around about a month ago advising of second payment - which I presume I'm entitled to.

Did anyone get a similar online letter and does anyone know when we are likely to receive the funds? Normally I receive the funds in my account before I'm notified so kinda unsure.

Not worried about the 2nd instalment, I'm still waiting for the 1st.

Think that letter was about the second instalment of 2015 BPS we've already had but previously never received a breakdown on what it was for. Letter wasn't at all clear though so maybe something different altogether.

Certainly not expecting 2016 balance anytime soon. The offer of mass loan payments for all applicants at the earliest opportunity only indicated one thing. Damage limitation exercise as they are miles away from being able to process anything.

Was there not some scam last year , cannot remember what is was.

@llamedos can you find it ?

Nothing specific I am aware of, more along the lines of fraudsters being aware payments were being received, and purpoting to be from Utilities etc, trying to get folk to pay bills which had not gone through etc.

Did you understand what the end outcome of all the calculations actually meant because I was lost by the end. Read like a small payment was still due but over a month ago now and nothing happened.

I never even tried to understand it- which is very bad of me but hey ho. What was their line at the start "Making it Simpler" or something like that.

We got paid more than we expected which was nice.

Well guys I've checked it out now. Received the communications log on 6th December 2016. Pretty bad I assumed having read it I was in for another £400 but yes it says 2015?
