Shearing record

Brilliant. Hope I'll see these 2 Welsh lads going for it at the World Shearing Champs in Invercargill on 8-11th February.
There are a few plans for other record attempts now in progress in NZ. Some local lads now in serious training for the 9hr 3 stand ewe record. All good Merino shearers, so will handle nice combing Romneys.

They are not the the team. Gwion Evans and Ian Jones is the welsh team. 2 very good shearers. There are a lot of good shearers in wales at the moment.

Yes agree. I've seen these guys regularly shearing at the Royal Welsh Show. Lots of Welsh shearers working in NZ nowadays too. I expect a lot of Welshmen at Invercargill for the Champs along with about 7000 overseas visitors registered to attend the event.
