I'm a Kiwi - was in a pub in Aberdeen a few years back with some Aberdonian friends, having a good time. A friendly local heard my accent and came over "so you're from NZ? My daughter lives there." Oh I probably know her then, says I. Turned out his daughter and I worked together!

Hello! I,m a farmer in Finland. I've these old Massey Ferguson tractors. Have repaired them and taken photos. So I first made homepage in Finnish of my hobbies and farming. Then found out that MF tractors are also outside Finland. Desided to translate pages to English, maybe they are useful to somebody. Linked two pages in the machinery topics. Hi I'm a land drainage contractor from north Suffolk & been draining now 36 years first started with my father who started draining in 1962 and then branched out on his own ,so the pics I've posted are of many years of hard graft but if you guys want a bit of advise i'll try to help ,I wouldn't say or have seen every drainage problem that occurs but I have come across most. my favourite phrase is men are like drains they need working hard !!

Hi, the names Nick. Joined around Christmas. 1000 acres arable in Northamptonshire. Currently farming 500 acres as we are contracting out the rest. Using the Claydon direct drilling system.

This is a great forum and have used it loads since joining. There's alway some interesting stuff on here!

Not anymore! Although, we leave some land set aside each year and chisel plough that up for the winter before going back on with the Claydon in the spring.
