Any one else attended there open day of their new site yesterday or going today?
I went yesterday and what a wonderful range of equipment they had on display and what a fantastic new layout it is.
Very nice free hog roast as well(y).
Think it's open until 10pm again tonight.

Wishing Halse of Honiton or now "Halse South West" Philip and staff many happy years of trading from their new site(y)

Yes I went last night. Was a fantastic evening.
Want a new trimmer?

How do they lift machines out? When we bought ours couple years ago it was near enough right at the back, there isn't enough height to clear?

The new site is bespoke. A great set up. Loads of room and easy to get in and out. I was there at 7:30am today to have some hydraulic hoses made up. 20 mins and I was on my way.

It is prob the best ag dealer/Workshop in the SW if not the S.

I know they needed to move but were caught out by circumstances beyond their control but they have come up with the goods now and will be settled for some time now.

Parking at the old site was more than mildly difficult at times as talking to a Krone rep on Thursday night and he said smiling that one day at the old site he parked outside Halse yard and on the side of the road only to find a gift on his windscreen from a traffic warden.
Getting back out of the yard could take a while in busy traffic as well.

It isn't just trimmers their sheds are full of as full ranges of multiple machines and more stock than alot factory's that supplied them I guess in some cases
A real success story (y) and it still sounds like the company has a great personality, whereas many larger outfits seem to get too big for their boots :( for what it's worth, I wish them all the best

Talking to the Dalbo rep apparently they took delivery of 40 sets of Dalbo Cambridge rolls this spring. That's some stock order

I counted the bays of the two long sheds that house much of the stock; there were 30 20' bays so each shed 600 foot long. I reckon they hold more stock than some individual machinery reps would sell in their lifetime :D
