Could the unthinkable happen?

There are signs of Mr Corbyn gaining popularity. Youngsters like his way of thinking. These are ones who perhaps wouldn't normally vote. He is saying things that sound attractive to lots of other voters.
Surely it couldn't happen?

A lot of the young members of society are annoyed that brexit happened. It may not of done if they had actually taken the trouble to vote!
The young ones don't remember the disaster that was the labour government in the past. So now they see labour as an attractive proposition. Scrap tuition fees. Take from the rich and give to the poor.
Nationalise the utility companies. Borrow more. Thats not a problem in their eyes as the rich can pay.
Dangerous times!

Perhaps, because you have now thought the unthinkable, the unthinkable will never happen?

I have to say, social media is utterly awash with bile, intolerance and hatred from the tolerant left towards the Tories. It's getting seriously boring but as they say, the empty vessel makes the most noise!

I am sure JC is a thoroughly decent and moral man, he just lives on a different planet. All I see are hollow, pie in the sky promises from a party who know they're not going to win so it doesn't matter what promises they make. I reckon they'll be more worried than us if they get in!

Yes, the youngsters that haven't had to pay tax yet always lean to the left, once they have to find their own way in the world the attitude changes and they then desert the left like rats off a sinking ship. They do eventually realise that the credit card has to paid off at some time :).

Do better than they expect , maybe when or should that be if the young 'uns realise you cant actuallly vote on facebook they will pick up a few votes , on the free tuition thing , but that would only offset some of the traditional labour voters who have turned there back on them and who would never support him.

Plus with SNP in scotland they are weakend even witjout the corbyn effect

So get in power no chance ,

I HOPE

In a word, No.

You're equating Jeremy Corbyn being on the TV and news quite a bit at the moment because its an election and the BBC have to be impartial, with him actually being popular with the voting public. A few teenage and student Trots may think he's the bees knees, mainly because they have a) zero experience of work and paying taxes, and b) no knowledge exactly what socialism did to tens of millions of people from 1918 to 1990 (Mainly because schools spend years telling everyone how evil Hitler was, and omitting entirely how much blood was on Stalin's and other Communist dictator's hands).

Everyone else knows exactly what Corbyn stands for, and come June 8th they will be voting in droves for anyone but him. The Tories are not exactly everyone's cup of tea, but they are infinitely preferable to Corbyn and his crew of Trotskyites and unapologetic Stalinists.

This is what the voters think of Corbyn, a net approval rating of minus 40%:

From 1918,socialism and the Labour party did a hell of a lot of good for tens of millions of people! Got kids out of fecking Bowes Lyons pits, basic education for all,and got the NHS up and running after Liberal Beveridge made the plan, and plenty other good things apart from these. They werent bad for farmers either. It was the late 60s and 70s when it went to sh!t with too much union power.

I'm sorry, I'm a true traditional cons voter . I get so annoyed by Jeremy's poor skills! You think I'd be happy as he only strengthens cons vote.... can anyone really imagine him in a room with merkel, trump, Putin and the french one..... they keep thinking he was the caretaker....
heard on radio today a greenie. Fair play to her when asked how she would fund her whacky ideas. She said she didn't know and she was sure it would be roughly 1billipn to 10 billion Ish..... she was happy and knew she'd never be asked to be held account for wild spending as she herself admired she'd never get in.... I admire that sort of honesty!
