I went on some sort of Tablet which worked side effects were gave me crazy dreams but stopped 60 a day habbit.
Then I started again when I started working silly hours. Was buying Marlboro off a Polish lad for 3.50 for 20 then he vanished and the thought of paying over 8 quid a go put me on an ecig. Works a treat..But Ideally I wouldn't use that either

spend a week in a lung ward in hospital and see the state of some those poor folk, like I just did
watch someone die a horrible death from cancer like I did with my dad

That's even worse
I spent 4 days in hospital sitting beside my Dad ('life long' smoker), waiting for him to die after a massive stroke. An utterly shite state of affairs, and needless, because the stupid sod had repeatedly tried to give up, but failed.
For the sake of your family, soak your remaining fags under the tap, and JFDI.

Give it 5 minutes. When you have a longing for a cig just tell yourself the cravings will pass in 5 minutes. And it does. Smoking e cigarettes wont do it because they have nicotine in them, I mean you don't get a heroine addict off heroine by giving them the same drug.
