Dairy Farm for sale not far from us.
Had plenty spent on it over the last few years, Would be able to move in and continue to milk cows with current infrastructure.

If it was the difference between surviving or not yes i would if not no i wouldnt, my guess is most would have to tie up alot in that to make a long term job of it.

Think if i had that sort of clout to buy a farm id be looking very seriously in America not here, this country is fooked long term.

Suppose there will be plenty of people with development money up north as there is elswhere around the country, it would be a step up from 150/200 cow men if they have equity already but borrowing 2.5 mill over 20 yrs would still be around 15k mnth interest and repayment, you'd need a bloody good milk cheque every mnth to service that, 20ppl would equal brown trouser time in my book.still looks a grand spot though

Ah yes you likely do, to sell a lesser farm and buy a better one for a bit more would be a good thing to do as long as you dont over streach the borrowing, i thought you meant something else.
