Unfortunately, I guess all the things you can do to improve it you already do. Might be worth talking to the doc if it's really disturbing. I get it occasionally and it's really annoying especially as it can kid in (pun) when I'm already asleep and then it wakes me and quite often OH up.

I had it very bad in my teens, it felt uncomfortable if my legs weren't moving and twitching whilst I was resting at night....not as bad now but does still occur now and again

. Hi have a go with some magnesium citrate it helps relax tight muscles. Works for me..

I believe drinking tonic water gives relief. Not too much gin with it mind!

There's a weird thing on the internet for this! Put a bar of soap down to the bottom of your bed, under the bottom sheet. I asked around and a friend of mine swears by it! I've no idea why this should work but it's cheap enough to try. Probably just don't admit to it!

That one is for cramp. I used to get it most nights at least once, just had to bend my leg and it would go into a spasm for up to an hour. Or kneel down, made doing the fire a nightmare! I saw the thing about tonic water and decided to try it, I've not had the problem since. I started out drinking about a pint a day (no idea how much I needed and I was desperate!), now I just have a glass about 2 - 3x a week. It seems to work, if I cut out the tonic water,after a week I can feel my legs starting to "tighten" up again.

I'm on pramipexol from the gp. 2 tiny tablets after tea or else it's like I'm doing riverdance.
Going to need to go up to 3 or 4 soon.

there is a recognised drug for it usually taken for people who have fits "gabapentin" I have a friend who takes it. Worth taking to GP to see if you can take it occassionally.
