Definitely a fraudulent website. I enquired about one of their machines and received a suspicious reply from Andrew Murphy, one of the company directors, asking for money to be sent their bank account. There was quite a bit of nonsense explaining that the price was low because the item was reclaimed by them from a leaseback contract. Andrew had ignored my request to view the machine. A quick google image check showed that a lot of ACS Plant & Machinery's 'stock' are images grabbed from other sites.
I did report the attempted fraud to Action Fraud. It wasn't difficult. I had a quick webchat with Action Fraud before I filled out the form and they pointed me in the right direction.

ACS Plant and Machinery Sales Ltd website is a fraudulent website..
A.C.S Plant and Machinery Sales Ltd.
We have reported a fraudulent company attempting to replicate our company name to ERSOU – the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit.
This regional police team is working with us to identify scam sites and, where possible, remove from them the web. However due to overseas domain names this may not always be easy to do and ERSOU is urging farmers and those in the agricultural industry to be vigilant when buying goods and machinery online....

A.C.S Plant and Machinery Sales Ltd is a real company and they have stolen our details from company house...

New to the forum so Hi Everyone,
I'm following up ACS Machinery Sales who are still operating and run by Andrew Murphy and Caroline Boyd, If anyone has any helpful info or knows of anyone who's been scammed please let me know.
They almost took my friend for £7400, stupid i know but he got out just in time.

Filing a report with action fraud is a waste of time and the police don't want to know UNLESS you've actually been scammed for money by which time it's gone forever.

The way they operate, Send them the value of the machine by bank transfer to their UK company account, looking like everything is all going well, after all they are a legit UK company, after a few days this money transfer will bounce back to your account, they then offer an alternative account seemingly belonging to their logistics department who take care of the delivery of their machines, this is an off shore account and untraceable to ACS, Murphy or Boyd. ACS then deny they've received any money. You having sent money to a company off shore leaves ACS or Murphy and Boyd untouchable by the UK authorities.

All you guys on here seem to be wide enough not to get stung but there are some gullible people out there who have been scammed, and those who will get caught in the future.
I hear some of you saying "if people are stupid enough to send money without seeing what they're buying then they deserve what they get" maybe true but no ones perfect so lets try put a stop to these scammers...
Any info greatly appreciated...
Thanks to all for reading this and all the best...

Andrew Murphy and Caroline Boyd are the directors of A.C.S but they have nothing to do with the website.. it is being investigated and hopefully shut down very soon..

They have also stolen our identity and created a website BWTractorsCompany.co.uk. Please do not enter into any transactions with these people they are scammers.
Our business BW Tractors and Co owned and operated by BRian Willis (formerly Willis Brothers) has nothing to do with them. We have also reported to police, fraud line etc but as we have not lost any money no action will be taken

hi I'm new on here I paid for a digger from these acs plant & Machinery and it was due to arrive yesterday and it never arrived, I never herd anything to say it had been delayed and became slightly suspicious. ... I tried calling them to see what had happened, and got no answer. I then emailed them and they said they were experiencing transport problems due to been so busy, and it will be with me next week.but I had already been allocated a delivery date and time. I decided to Google acs, and I found this( about them been fraudulent ) so I got in touch with my bank and ther advice was to wait till next week to see if it is delivered as they said it will be. it's doing my head in what can I possibly do? I see it has a genuine business number& names of directors? any help whatsoever would be appreciated. we have just had a premature baby and luckily he is doing well enough but this added stress isn't helping our new family. I'm rapidly loosing confidence in this country.
