Ron Greet Tractors....what a lovely man who has put up with my garbled descriptions and terminology, 'thingy ma bobby, wheel thingy' etc.
Great service and price from a very knowledgeable chap :)(y)
Amazed he's still around (or is it the name?!) grandad would of dealt with him back in the 80's!

Thought the following firms deserved a mention.

Frank Alviti balanced me a flail rotor a couple of months ago. They're 100 odd miles from me so not practical to drop it off and fetch it another day nor would it stand a haulier. We made a plan together for me to drop it off and they'd make sure a man and machine were free so it could be turned round while I waited.
All at a sensible price too.

David King electronics sorted the joystick out on my matbro. I couldn't afford to be without it very long so again we made a plan for me to get it to them on a certain day and they'd have a man free waiting for it. It was back and working perfectly within 3 days.
They've also done me 2 wrapper control boxes this week. 1 came back with a few niggles but a quick phone call and all was sorted. One of the more helpful firms I've dealt with

Lastly Graham Edwards trailers.
Called in last week to order a trailer. Wanted a few bits making differently to standard. I got their best price first time and no extra charge for the alterations. Nice to deal with a company that actually listens to what the customers want
That's a good business man with his head screwed on

Not ag but worth mentioning I think.

A company that aims to give good customer service is Premier Inns. I have no connection with them whatsoever, but have stayed with them six to eight times over a period of years.

I know of two instances where the accomdation bill was written off where a guest complained. The first was when I was waiting at reception to settle up and got into conversation with the guest ahead of me in the queue. When his turn came to pay he mentioned that some late night revellers had disturbed his sleep. Without further prompting the receptionist offered to refund his payment for accomodation!

On another occasion I mentioned to the recptionist that the bedroom my wife and I had been in was small for a double and really only large enough for a single. Without any quibble they refunded my bill.

Hexagon Agriculture are in Madrid, Spain; and by default, as there seems to be no current Leica ag guidance support presence in UK, they appear to be the go-to firm for assistance.
My Mojomini screen died last week at about 3yrs old. I rang/e-mailed Hexagon on Monday, to enquire about possibility of purchasing a new screen unit to utilise my still operational antenna. This morning a new display arrived from Spain, and me only to pay postage charge. The Mojomini1 is a phase out product, and they offered one from remaining stock, gratis.
So big thanks are due to the chaps at Hexagon, and to @MickW for the advice and contact.

Ditto, I stayed in one for a couple of nights last year, the second night was disturbed a bit - but not too badly - by a wedding party and I didn't even have to say anything about it, when I was settling up the receptionist apologised and said there would be no charge for that night.

A neighbour's Mrs was in London for a show last week with some friends and, after checking in, told the receptionist that their rooms seemed a bit smaller than they expected after booking online. After a quick check, there was an apology, each of them was given a suite and a free breakfast.

It is only fair, but it is good service and word gets around, like on here. Good luck to them.

Well I have 3 firms to add

Bucketwarehouse, I ordered a rather expensive piece of equipment last week, paid upfront and was delivered this week. Spot on to deal with and pallet delivery company was also good.

Flowfit, had a solenoid diverter valve go down and no one had one in stock. Ordered Thursday at 15:45 delivered yesterday at 8:30am

Pirtek in hull, needed some new hoses to fit the above and local spot was shut so they did it while I was in Hull shopping. Even gave the kids some sweets out the tin they had open [emoji106][emoji16]
