Sorry me again. At times my right foot gets really restless At night and stops me sleeping for hour or two when I go bed. It's really bad tonight. Is there any tips that I could use to reduce it or ease it to help me sleep
Thanks

Could you get some cream or gel from the chemist? I think horse chestnut might be the right one. I think Boots the chemist sell a horse chestnut gel for tired legs.

There's a weird thing on the internet for this! Put a bar of soap down to the bottom of your bed, under the bottom sheet. I asked around and a friend of mine swears by it! I've no idea why this should work but it's cheap enough to try. Probably just don't admit to it!

I believe drinking tonic water gives relief. Not too much gin with it mind!

No, seriously, the quinine in it should help.

That one is for cramp. I used to get it most nights at least once, just had to bend my leg and it would go into a spasm for up to an hour. Or kneel down, made doing the fire a nightmare! I saw the thing about tonic water and decided to try it, I've not had the problem since. I started out drinking about a pint a day (no idea how much I needed and I was desperate!), now I just have a glass about 2 - 3x a week. It seems to work, if I cut out the tonic water, after a week I can feel my legs starting to "tighten" up again.
