Cold in summer?!

As the title suggests. What is going on?! After dad came home from hospital, last week, he caught a cold from one of the nurses there, which was a bit off to say the least. We all have gradually caught it from dad. I dosed myself up on vits/herbal tinctures and stuff to build up a bit of an immunity to it, so far it's kept it quite mild. ATM tho finding it difficult to sleep at nights, which is nasty as I have early wake-ups for work :( so I have taken to sleeping in the afternoons, but that just messed with my sleep pattern. Thinking of going back on my herbal teas again. Just to mention throats been killing me all day, so been permanently dosed up on paracetemol! :( Any other tips welcome :)

It seems to have shifted, however it has affected my chest rather, so am taking cough mix, herbal, which is helping shift it. Think it was partly down to milk powder and also chemicals from dairy, now wearing respirator and is much better. Hope yours has gone :)

Noooo I'm invisible I won't get that :rolleyes::ROFLMAO:

Alas the very thoughts of my brother last year, he got it bad too! I say better safe than sorry, just get it checked out to make sure... After all pneumonia is a very deadly disease, if not caught in time. They do say to go to docs if your cough has been there over a few months, due to risk of cancer and other diseases. Don't mean to worry you tho. ;)

It's coz @REStracTORATION always has such spotless hands and has never built up his immune system....
...seriously though being crook in the summer is far worse than when it's cold, I think. Hope it soon shakes off, for both of you (y)
Blackballs in whisky overnight and then a few seconds in the microwave- hang over it and inhale the vapour for a bit then bottoms up is a good one, can make your breakfast taste a little funky but....:whistle:

Interesting... I may just try that ;) Summer is indeed the worst, because stuff can mutate more easily die to the warm air and such :rolleyes:

My mum always has a preserving jar with blackballs soaking in whisky to the point they dissolve, now that's powowowerful.
I'm sure she gets into it a bit when she's not sick as well - whisky is good stuff, should be subsidised on the health system! ;) get well soon (y)

What are black balls? Do I have to castrate an African?

Our family all had it too. My wife has started new job teaching p1s, son at primary school and daughter at nursery so germs coming from all directions.

At least it's coincided with wet weather as last week would have been a struggle when busy with harvest.
