Household lpg

Is there any way to use it to power an lpg car? How hard would it be to put a fill nozzle on the tank?

You need a liquid outlet on the tank (dip tube)

Supposedly you want a pump to fill other tanks, a friend fills his car by just leaving it connected and the pressure does most of the work.

It's not strictly legal due to road duty not being paid but there is no way for them to check on the gas in your tanks...

That sounds almost too easy. Can you just buy an lpg tank and get it filled?

They don’t plumb it into the house, just to the nearest outside wall it’s up to a local RGI to connect from there to the inside of the property [emoji41]

Yes you can buy your own tank, got a contact for tank and cheap gas if you want it?

Gas will always be cheaper if you can shop around for your own tank

PM if you like

Once you get past the initial contract, your not stuck with the tank supplier, think the initial contract is approx 20 months, Calor doing free tank instals at the mo if above ground.

My ex wife ran our V8 Discovery on heating lpg she was buying off a friend with a tank, they were running a Jeep. Took a few months but as there's no lubricant like in autogas when you put a trailer on the back it wasn't long before the engine started overheating and losing power, the valve seals were also on their way out.
That got sold on and we went back to running diesels
