I wonder if those back wheels are the right size to match the front fir correct 4wd ratio as well.might be worth noting sizes next time your there and post them here somebody may know the correct ratio fir a 590.

You need to see if multi power can be freed out if not you need to either get it disabled or look at replacing gearbox with non mp version.

Does engine start easily and run ok ?

Starts ok as far as I can tell, bit lumpy when cold but once warm runs ok it's faster down the ramp with no throttle than full throttle on the flat so no engine braking, will get tyre sizes at weekend. Anything else i should look for?

Check if the lift arms at rear working maybe there is no hydraulics working at all?
That is is possible as we don't use them but the 3 point hitch has been removed and replaced with a frame as part of the marinisation. Why this is done I cannot say I would rather the frame mount to the 3 point hitch.

Back wheels look correct to me 13.6x38 ,if anything the fronts look a bit big, I'd expect to find 12.4x24
Not working multi power I agree isn't good, especially with amature drivers, but I suspect the lever is only seized because the MP didn't work, first thing is checking the oil level, dipstick on back right of tractor rear end, sort of inside of the back wheel

We bolted our multi powers up solid drilled threw the clutch pack but that may be far to challenging as above replace the gear box if you dont need four-wheel drive i wouldnt worry
It sounds to me that the engine starts and runs and thats it no hydraulics working but as above try moving the levers in the cab but by the pictures and what work it is doing i guess they will be seized
Does the tractor run in the water if so how deep? Let us know if you get a chance to check out the linkage on the multi power

Tractor shouldn't go deeper than the tow ball on rear into water but waves do splash up the back from time to time when's it's flat calm it's ok it's when it's not the water gets into places we don't want it!

Thanks for all the help wil suggest we purchase a manual is £25 a fair price?

Yes £25 is about right for a manual, a very good investment

Top up both, to top marks on dip sticks when cold and sitting level, with if still available Multipurpose oil.

drive slowly with full steering lock on and push 4wd in and out - you should feel it jump sort of when switching
That's what I did and couldn't feel anything I was expecting some tyre scrub or judder on full lock in 4wd

Also how is the diff lock supposed to,work? Press and it locks in the pedal just seems to bounce should it stay in once pressed this was on concrete so no slip occurred

diff pedal has to be held down with your heel, does not wait down it's self (y)

Ok I stood on it and it moved a bit, wasn't sure if it was supposed to stop down on its own, note in cab about using clutch to disengage if it doesn't auto disengage?
