That sounds reasonableMy lpg contact is up .wondering what deal are about . Been offered 35p a litre
Is there any way to use it to power an lpg car? How hard would it be to put a fill nozzle on the tank?
That sounds almost too easy. Can you just buy an lpg tank and get it filled? You need a liquid outlet on the tank (dip tube)
Supposedly you want a pump to fill other tanks, a friend fills his car by just leaving it connected and the pressure does most of the work.
It's not strictly legal due to road duty not being paid but there is no way for them to check on the gas in your tanks...
Why buy when you can rentThat sounds almost too easy. Can you just buy an lpg tank and get it filled?
Because Calor may ask questions if you want a tank filling but not plumbing into the house. Why buy when you can rent
All you do is dig the trench they will pipe it up to house and put a valve on ,a lever valve so a bit of pipe work to your connection and your doneBecause Calor may ask questions if you want a tank filling but not plumbing into the house.
Also free if you dig the hole to bury itOnce you get past the initial contract, your not stuck with the tank supplier, think the initial contract is approx 20 months, Calor doing free tank instals at the mo if above ground.
Ahh diesel my old friend, she never lets you downMy ex wife ran our V8 Discovery on heating lpg she was buying off a friend with a tank, they were running a Jeep. Took a few months but as there's no lubricant like in autogas when you put a trailer on the back it wasn't long before the engine started overheating and losing power, the valve seals were also on their way out.
That got sold on and we went back to running diesels
