Our last calf of the year put in an appearance unexpectedly this morning

Relieved it's here but a right pain for a spring calving herd :inpain:

Checking the heifers at dad's I came across these

There were no fields of maize within a mile or 2 this year so they must have been Brock's take away

It's amazing where maize cobs end up. They seem to appear randomly when there is no maize close by. I always thought it was foxes:scratchhead:

What feels like a couple of weeks ago (probably months) the loadall developed a strange vibration noise at certain revs, today It became very noticeable.. worse at tick over. :scratchhead: fearing the worse I took fan belt off thinking it was a bearing to no avail. After much sprotting about I found the engine mounts were so worn that the sump was sitting on the main frame

can't help but bodge, so placed a selection of washers under each mount as a temporary  fix.

Sadly the two that hold the gearbox end were fudged. So ordered a set of 4. Deal of the day £20 including vat and delivery.
