Airport today, first job was a couple of bearings on another gritter.
IMG_5466.jpg

Then due to the great forward planning of the engineering manager they decided to check over the snow gear the day before we’re due to get snow! (Could only happen at an airport in Liverpool[emoji849])
IMG_5467.jpg

Of course found a bearing gone on one of the castors on a snow brushes [emoji23]

Got a bearing coming tomorrow.

Got back to the yard and it’s looking very festive.

Lucky escape from a nasty incident this afternoon.

Very difficult to stamp out an angle-grinder fire in your own crotch, fortunately I managed to kill the flames before it developed into a bushfire.

Overalls will be OK next summer as long as I remember not to go commando.
That brought a tear to my eye

Make sure your four legged friend isn’t watching you too closely, I know someone who had a dog in some serious discomfort for a long time, vet didn’t know what was wrong....took a while to figure out she had arc-eye.......was ‘watching’ a bit too much welding:eek:

Stay safe(y)
