Fun packed day today, trip to the dealer for some hub seals first thing. Then when I got back to the yard my first job had landed.
New blade on bucket
Worst part is chopping the old ones off
Looks better now though, should be good for another two years.
Parts for the sprayer landed, all though it’s now looking like a job for next week can’t knock Bateman’s parts service, the bill came just as quick though
Then job number 2 landed just after dinner, 6520 for hub seals.
Then got to do it all over again on the other side! Think this is the first time I’ve ever known both inside hub seals to go at exactly the same time
Airport tomorrow so see what exciting tasks they’ve got waiting for me there

Well we're finally back on the mains
Only 104 days since the fire, no thanks to the UK Power Networks office staff insisting on treating us as a new connection but Ryan Jukes and his joining team were excellent .
Waved goodbye to the generator
A good job I didn't load it with the 3cx as it weighs 1800kg
Energy Generators have been great too, if expensive. Nearly £9k in hire and diesel but it gave us full use of the farm, single phase and three.
