Brexit - It's Being Killed Off

Quite an interesting Questiontime on the Beeb last night. Usual line up of pro Brexiters and remoaners.

Best bit was when a guy in the audience asked when the remoaners were going to stop slagging the U.K. off and promote it by shouting about how good it is and will continue to be.

Hit the nail on the head in my book and very relevant to this very thread.
If you don’t like this Country then leave, if you haven’t already done so.

Those that have already done so, obviously didn’t like like the U.K. when it was in the EU.

If you left and are living in another EU country, was it because we weren’t in the EU enough?
If so, then take comfort that you are still in the EU.

But please stop trying to ridicule those of us still in the U.K. when we don’t want to be in the EU anymore.

It seems logical that you have made your choices and so have we! Ce n’est pas?

It was only just over half of you though. My daughter for eg was 16 at the time , so couldn't vote. Now she is stuck in your sub standard mess. She didn't make your choice

There you go, Farage even screwed the weather.

I wouldn't say TB was my hero:eek:. One of the very few I ever rated was David Owen, so it was a bit annoying that he was a quitter but then he is getting on now.
I have never, ever know anyone who wanted a job be out of work.

But I see that there is far more to life than a job and money and it has just become an even more angsty place to be:(

You can hardly claim that trying to leave the EU is directly responsible for full employment can you?

The fall in the value of the pound will have had some effect over the last twelve months, but the main driver is the lack of investment and stock market short termism that has blighted British industry for decades. It is cheaper in the short term to employ low skills than invest in hi-tec.

But, but, but .... this will be the six hundred and ninety seventh time she is setting out her aims.
She wants a “deep and special”, relationship with her “dear friends and allies”!

That is precisely why a shortage of cheap unskilled labour will drive innovation and investment in automation and robotics,. Necessity is the mother of invention.
