Called to a customers house today to a fault to the sockets. Unplugged the Newly fitted boiler and felt a slight tingle!! This would explain why!!!
I doubt it, it’s nearly half an inch out!If you heat it up again will it straighten ...............
They managed to connect it to the old boiler supply but also ran a new supply in off the socket next to the boiler via that plug. So it was fed from 2 different points. What has caused it to do that if it’s unplugged [emoji50]

No. But for some reason the plumber who fitted the boiler thought it did. Lucky it was me unplugging it and not the old lady who lived there.it need two supplies ?
Where was that plug getting power from?Called to a customers house today to a fault to the sockets. Unplugged the Newly fitted boiler and felt a slight tingle!! This would explain why!!!
very luckyNo. But for some reason the plumber who fitted the boiler thought it did. Lucky it was me unplugging it and not the old lady who lived there.
There’s a number of reasons I let the customer try and get I welded rather than me doings it, distortions is just one reason, also the fact they completely changed the way the new manifolds are cast to compensate for the weight of the turbo, so I wanted to fit the updated one really then I know it’s right.I think a pigeon has been sat on it!!
Never weld it u less bolted down solid to a flat strong slab of steel . heat the whole manifold up first with oxy act to get a even heat and then weld and allow to cool before unbolting.
That was my first thoughtahhhfek off
we was allowed a glimpse of sunshine today but had to have a few showers to go with itThat was my first thought
It was getting power from inside the boiler where it had been doubled up with another feed.Where was that plug getting power from?
It was lovely and dry here first thing till it thawed, then it turned back to shîte. The snow yesterday didn't help.we was allowed a glimpse of sunshine today but had to have a few showers to go with it
cant have it drying up or we'll have a hose pipe ban

Not sure what he was trying to achieve. The customer said he made two visits to try and get it to work And still couldn’t get the thermostat to call for the boiler.Makes a change from reversed polarity
The plumber didn't get confused trying to get a permanent and switched live into the boiler to facilitate pump over run by any chance
