Should have some urea, AN,TSP and MOP on farm marketplace later next week

Reading recent posts on this thread the prices are going to “interesting” !
Have you found a secret warehouse full of the stuff at 1995 prices like?
dunno how any marketplace will beat current prices i can get from all well known suppliers ?
unless iam buying 100000t then there might be £10/t diff but iam rather doubtfull.
I know one thing i bet you cant supply me with NITRAM for anything near what i bought mine at last May?

Remember FMP is just a platform for vendors, it’s not a supplier or seller of anything

I have just had a sneak preview of prices this new vendor plans to list at and all I’m saying is they look very competitive vs prices quoted on this thread recently ! How they achieve that is their business

Bought all my 2018 N last August, thankfully, can’t conpare prices of the past with today’s though can we and hindsight is a wonderful thing !

Didnt take much hindsight to know pretty much what would happen later in the year as it did ex-actually the same in 2016 season
& i'll take a punt it will do something very similar this year.
we all wait n see.

i recon its haulage that is the main diff in prices for all of us.
you dont move 28.2t of any fert for nowt & the further away from its pickup point the dearer it all is.
Even worse if you just want sub 10tons.

This farm marketplace supplier will have a single delivered price for all (maybe a small haulage surcharge for extreme notthand scotland)

Only draw back at the moment is they will have liimited qty’s available and can’t do part loads

The price / quality is very good though and imo that’s what matters

We have been asked by some of the fertiliser suppliers that use the "quote me" section of TFF if we could find a way to make sure they have all the information they need to be able to most accurately quote the best possible price they can

Currently TFF members have just started a thread stating what they want but often neglect to add detail like delivery dates, locations or when they want to pay etc

The solution we want to try is a simple form that asks all the relevant questions so suppliers can get quote.

The Fertiliser quote request can be found here CLICK or at the top of the TFF "quote me" section of the forum

The requests for quotes get automatically emailed out to pretty much all the major UK merchants meaning they can respond faster and saving time for any TFF farmer ringing round for the best price.

There is no charge for this service for either Farmer or merchant, its all part of our quest to try and make TFF more useful and productive for everyone who uses it and get the best deal possible for UK farmers

Any suppliers that are not on the email list who want to be able to quote please get in touch and we will happily add you

Good plan...!

Same thing as Yagro is it not? Though I'm guessing they charge a transaction fee.

its nothing new really, the quote me section has been going strong on TFF for several years now , the idea of this is just to try and make sure all the information needed gets collected at point of request and speed up the process for all

We have done similar with a Haulage and Back Load form on the same page

and its free for all concerned
