Shite happens mate, especially with livestock.

It rounds off my worst ever business decision. I bought 3 in calf heifers and 2 bulling ones from a friend 14 months ago to help build the herd up for £4200. The 3 in calf ones calved while I was down your way and just after: 2 cesareans both huge dead calves & 1 dead huge calf by Jack, lost 2 of the heifers afterwards as well. The 2 bulling heifers have now calved to our own bull: 1 huge live calf by Jack with heifer down for 2 days & today's calf dead with a vet bill.

Final tally: 3 heifers survive and 1 calf.

At least We live to fight another day (y)
The like is for your attitude not the content of the post(y)

Can't you just blow it straight in the baler, or just chucked about by hand?
No pavement around?

Tried carrying wedges of the hestons into the shed but it just falls apart outside, got 6 hestons in as a trial as much to see if the birds would eat it for a bit of fibre as anything, no idea if it has blackgrass in or not so decided the best thing was to bale it up on some permanent pasture, that way any blackgrass won't matter.

I’ve seen a turkey shed where there was a rail suspended from above with a flat sledge slung from it ( a bit like a cable car) which would slide down the shed taking a quadrant bale on the platform and the operator could lift off wads as he pushed it down the track.
