I am Peter Thompson and manage my private counselling practice based in Bewdley, Worc's offering strictly confidential counselling in my own consulting room.
Having watched a TV article concerning mental health and farmers,I am looking to offer my services to farming communities who feel they may benefit from it. My profile can be found on both The National Counselling Society website of whom I am a member as well as the Counselling Directory website.
Please contact me if you have any questions. But firstly I would like to ask a question ....
If I were to focus some time and effort on providing such a counselling service say in my local areas to begin with, what do YOU think would be the kind of take up rate I could expect?
Thanks for your time and if you would like to know more please get in touch.
Cheers

not so much stigma anymore :)......might be a good idea.....not sure about take up though as most stress is about the family/life issues exacerbated by farming life/pressure:scratchhead:
Thanks for the reply. The farming /life pressure as in other areas of life can cause so much trouble. I just seem to be hearing more and more that either farmers aren't able to make that change and go to a talking therapy or that the therapy isn't their for them .
