Pig Slurry

O.K., I read it and was too lazy to think about your imperial units.....but now Simon has pointed on me, so please give me some more details:
1. 3000 gls/ac means in real figures anything around 28000 litres/hectare ??
2. how is the field looking when you want to apply the slurry, any covercrops growing, just stubbles or what ? Just to figure out how much soil-life could be there to digest the slurry
3. JD 750A is the drill to be used ?
4. are you nailed to spread that amount in one go before drilling or could you split it up in 2 doses - one before drilling and one when the seed is up ?? Or could you lower the rate if needed ?
