As above that’s rare bearing in mind how good the OPU was. Never liked Duncan Cabs that much but would be very happy to spend a day on yours reminiscing!

Sekura .launched there first q cab in 1974 .

Not sure jd would have taken it that soon but could have .1976 was the catalyst for all q cabs in the uk

Roll over protection was from 1971 so duncan and the like was driven by this

Both my parents worked for Victor cabs .in the 70,s. It was all over by late 70, as cabs were made in house or sub contract such as gkn..

It would have been far better if it was rear-hinged. It's bad enough having to clamber of the clutch pedal around the dash, without the door swinging back around because the grab handle is on it :stop:
Ah the memories☺. Worse thing for me was knocking forehead on the heater housing up on the cab roof everytime l went over a bump.
Still I regarded it as the height of luxury in 1980 as up to then I was in Ford 5000s and MF 178 etc

That is true, and the channels for the sliding rear windows filled with dust on early examples.
But, it was a credible first generation Quiet cab from a small Danish company and in many respects far better than the in-house first offerings from the mainline tractor manufacturers.

hated the Duncan cab on 2130 I used work, but step up to get 2140 with sekura cab,was a pain tripping over clutch pedal indeed
