Immigration Good For The Country?

I think a lot of the problems is to many people living in an ever decreasing space. Years ago there would of been a plague or other diseases to kill off half the population or a big war to kill off millions but as we have not had this it’s created its own problems. I think there will be a big war again before to long as humans hate each other and have different views on life so will never get along . As simple as that.

We had a conversation with a childhood frend, whos a dryliner, when the economic crisis hit a few years back, and even he could see it, he said the common market was alright when you had countries like france and germany and holland all with a similar standard of living, but when poorer countries like poland, and now turkey wanting to join where a days money for a labourer is equivalent to £ 10 if you can get a days work? how do hell is that ever going to work no wonder they come here, now you have pro discrimination where you have foreign worker firms owned by foreigners only wanting to recruit from their own country, i know this for a fact romanians runn ing building companies recruiting from romania?/

Take a good look at the country's that always seem to be fighting each other, there at it now, and will always be. I don,t need to say where, its on the news most nights.

Many of our homebreds are badly let down by our education system. Not everyone is a grade A student I know so why is there no real alternative to academic education until they leave school? Why are tens of thousands of young people encouraged into higher education doing irrelevant useless degrees that are simply delaying the reality of life and work.
Unfortunately for them Mr Blair decided that university was the holy grail. Go there and get a degree and your guaranteed a wonderful job.
The reality is a degree in media or whatever is worth sod all. Been better at technical college and an apprenticeship!
People don't have to do what is suggested to them. I was educated in a time where it was encouraged to do a degree, but many didn't. Many who bought into the idea of a degree being an elevator to the top, will have quickly realised that what they were told was misleading, learning not to trust everything you are told is probably the type of shock tactic required to wake up those who were naive enough to believe this kind of nonsense, and will have resulted in an alternative education all of it's own.

More concerning however are those who simply won't work at all. There would be no need for immigrants to come here to do the low paid jobs, if the unemployed (some of which are 3rd generation) had a less comfortable way of life.

The job market is like any other, if you make yourself too expensive or simply get lazy or complacent, a cheaper alternative that can be relied upon will come in from abroad to take your place.

Controlled immigration is a good thing. What we have at the minute isn’t despite how they dress the statistics up.

The immigrants that take the minimum wage jobs are taking opportunities away from our own up and coming youngsters that need work, responsibility and a start on the career ladder.
The immigrants are not taking the opportunities at all, they are still there, Immigrants are prepared to do the work that locals do not want to do.

That’s not quite all of it, they will be prepared to do it for the lower wages that employers want to pay. Wages have gone down, supply and demand causes that. Just like farm produce, when there is a glut the price drops.

The immigrants may be prepared to work harder for less. That does not mean the opportunity for locals has diminished,it may mean that locals have to work for less to compete.

You can not blame immigrants it’s a political thing. If the eu said you could have unlimited and unrestricted access to the uk and you lived in a s**t hole like Poland and the rest of Eastern Europe you would want to come here, it’s obvious.
