I thought I was having heart attacks/strokes! Very bad pain across my chest and below left shoulder blade, but sporadic. I'd be feeling OK, then go out to walk around the stock. Dull pain in both arms, then chest, and I'd have to sit down. Then half an hour later, fine again.
Finally gave in and phoned the surgery. They had me attached to the heart machine by a few dozen leads but apparently I passed that OK. I was then told muscle strain does occur is spasms. Spent all day yesterday in bed feeling very poor, doped up with the maxumum permitted dose of paracetamol. At some points I was shouting out with the pain. Seem to be almost back to normal today but still weak.
Hope that helps somebody. Not nice at all and don't remember doing anything particularly strenuous. But when in doubt, phone the quack! As the nurse said, they'd rather have a false alarm than a corpse!
