Got serious arthritis in one of my big toes. Always just about managed with painkillers but lately it’s got to the point I can’t cope with it.
I put shoes on in a morning and don’t take them off till I’m done at night.

Someone’s reccomended one of those copper bracelets.
Do they work?

Any other tips?

Hi.
Big toe pain most likely gout.
Get blood test uric acid levels to confirm gout or not.
If it is gout aspirin and ibuprofen make it worse.
Get a blood test first .
After all the test is free.

Change which rear pocket you keep your folding money wallet in - and 2 inch difference across the cheaks could be nipping a back nerve which could be manifesting itself in an acheing big toe

I’ve had an inflammatory arthritis for years. Copper band are great at turning your wrist green but not much else. The best thing I have found is soak it in warm water and then use ibuprofen gel (voltarol is an expensive version of this)

Interesting. Never heard of that association before
years ago when i had a fair bit of back trouble 'matey back chappie' said not drink to big amounts of tea ..or even give it up actually . the tannins (acid?/?)in it or something..would be more for muscle tone/recovery ir but anyway he said drink cider vinegar in the morning instead....:yuck: i didnt take that advice tho....

Maybe just a few less aches and creaks than Guy martins gonna get....
