No it's frowned on when someone is watching an laughing or even worse bollocking a kid when they are struggling to do a job, instead of spending 5 minutes to show them how it's done. There is work place 'banter' and work place bullying. Which is totally unacceptable IMO.

Don’t carry the trailer on the lift rods after the hitch is locked in. That’s a pet hate of mine. How hard is it to lower the arms a fraction?
Never at 16, even I still get a thrill driving a new tractor!
Also remember that safety stickers apply in all circumstances whether bale carting or boffing the bosses' daughter so "Check nuts for tightness when new" and "in an overturn situation, hold on tightly and remain mounted until your tackle has come to rest."
Many a farm was earned this way, just make sure she has no brothers or sisters
If I’m driving a John Deere and the trailers going to be staying on for quite a while I’ll often hitch up then slide the slider right to he bottom out the way but click the button to bring the arms right back to the top and lower them a fraction on the external controls when I put the pipes in. Sounds a faf but it’s not really and you can position them exactly where you want out of harms way.

Going downhill in low was scary!
On my first job, they sent me off on a 135 with a load of strawbales knowing it had a dodgy Multipower- it would go into low, but wouldn't go back into high. I got to a very steep hill and it ran away. Luckily the road was a long tarmac run down to the local water works, but I was really motoring by the time I reached the bottom. The old hands thougt it was hilarious, but I still remember it now and think how daft it was.
