Presumably there is still a limited market for new smaller 5 to 6 foot drum mowers in some areas of UK but does anyone buy larger 8 or 9 foot ones these days ?

When we looked at a new mower few years ago asked about drum mower but we're told that they are alot heavier than disc and actually more money. Do find they do give a better cut though
They seem to never leave a verge in heavy lyning crops

Just into 3rd hayfield today and my old disco has not done a great job in any of them.
Got me thinking a change for next year might be on the agenda.
The rose tinted specs had me reliving the clean shaves l would get with my 5000 and pz 165

We have a 6ft zetor mower cuts 100 acres or so a year nicely

Had one since 2005 done around 1200 acres now and just cut 12 more today. Good among the rocks and hills here when we don't want to wreck the vicon disc mower.

Dunno how many acres we have cut but we have worn out two saucers I think and have a couple of new saucers in the shed ready when the current ones wear out

I sold a nice 5’ 6” drum mower, today.

Pleased with the front mounted Claas Corto I bought just wish I could work out how to adjust it to go uphill. It follows contours downhill and across slopes no problem.

I saw that - Samasz on the plate and almost identical to our old Zetor which I think was close to the km22

Ah that must be the alpine model. You go up on the skilifts and carve your way down

Run a claas corto 3100c and sip 340fc find the drum does a much better job in heavy crop

Same here, runs a treat on my 90.
Little zetor I used many years ago used pz blades.
Was absolutely fine.
Made a nice job.
