Yippee my money has just come through, so that's another £5k I can now throw at the 2a bearing in mind I owe £1,300 out for the new galv bulkhead I bought the other week and I still need to get the g/box and tranny box refurbished / uprated then the rest is for everything else I need for the 2a so I need to make a new parts list :D

where did you get it got to do a defender soon

Got it from Richards chassis although i sometimes wish it was a Marsland chassis as with this Richards chassis when removing and fitting the engine either with the gearbox fitted or not i always have a problem lowering the engine onto its mounts as though something is a couple of mil out, with my last series i rebuilt with a Marsland chassis it started with a 2.25D engine then later replaced with a 2.25P engine then later a Disco 200tdi engine and i never had an issue with either engines going in or coming out.

But i did replace the chassis on our 200tdi 90 earlier last year with a Richards chassis and had a similar problem with that aswell, think if i ever do another chassis swap it will be a Marsland chassis
