I mentioned an electric die grinder recently.....

I bought a Makita https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Makita-GD0...311421&hash=item58981ceb3c:g:IHIAAOSwbsBXnzG8 for a nice bit less than that but same model.

Got to use it properly for the first time on Saturday, it lacks the drama of an air grinder, and I think lacks the outright balls, but I could do with a new burr to say for sure.

But it never slows, you never have to wait for the tank to refill so you still get more done.

Just a few minutes from a to b in 5mm box

It cuts out quite quickly when you push it, and also it's quite heavy. Maybe not compared to other brands but much heavier then a corded one (obviously).
Only bought it to save on the extension cord hassle for small jobs, we'll see.
Grab a few extra batteries @£11.99 well worth having a few as only 2 amp hour bought the sabre saw and impact driver as well and have 6 batteries . The 3 year warranty they come with what's not to like for your money .

They also had a 4 amp battery. However I thought I'd try first. Maybe I'll go crazy and get the sawzall as well, would only be like €40 extra compared to a 2 amp battery alone
