Forage Maize looks really good around here, haven't seen a bad piece yet.

A field up the road has fat hen taller than the maize. Thicker stand too for that matter.

If its poor in parts of the UK it will diabolical in parts of Europe.

Seen several fields around here today that have started tasselling, most would be 2/3ft tall with the odd 4ft field.
Dont really pay much attention to maize and know very little about it as there isntuch around me but i did notice a field yesterday that looked a lot shorter than i thought it should be. It was barley over fence height
