It is good to have things placed under pressure sometimes - sure some will defend any belief, and good for them... but

Many parts of culture are evolutionary, yet outdated in the same way as a motorcycle's telescopic forks are the weakest link.

Odd characters just add to the entertainment, Can't remember the thread (it was brexit related) but a staunch metric man who uses nothing but ha, mm, kg and km, took the high ground and set about belittling "uneducated" types like me who still use feet and inches. After a brief look, his past content revealed a lot of his posts were written with reference to imperial units

Naturally he was talking bollards.
From that day forward I've taken what I read with a pinch (1.76 gms) of salt.

No idea what he meant if I'm honest.. took it at face value? Just saying I don't pretend to be someone I'm not

I just don't put my face or name up, because I like some privacy (same reason my FB is as private as I can make it). And in these days of identity theft/fraud and data protection I think it's a wise move

I'm not up on motorcycles. I remember BMW had separate suspension and shockers on their front wheel in the 60s. Are they still like that?
