unless you can use low seed rates hss plus area based roalty is a no brainer

It’s a sad job when cleaning a crop is worth double the value of the crop itself.....and the royalty is worth six times the value of the end product.
I’m sure there’s a good analogy but I can’t think of one offhand.

I was quoted almost £5/kg to clean, including royalty and 30p of fung
. Could buy new seed for around £9/10/kg. Got 120kg of seed to clean somewhen

I have a leaf blower blowing up the pipe, just out of frame. No holes in the pipe but a couple of screws holding it to the wood which do a good job, making the seed bounce around a bit .

Why do you drill so heavy? Still aiming to drill 2kg fss here onto ploughed light ground.
