Ford 4610 hydraulic pump

i am trying to find a transmission mounted hydraulic pump for a Ford 4610 with synchromesh transmission. Preferably a new one but I cannot find a supplier who lists them. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Has anyone had any experience of the repair kits. I am somewhat sceptical of how successful they will be but I am wondering if it is worth a try as I need this tractor up and running urgently.

What is wrong with the current hyd pump @GavinJ as I think a repair kit will only be a seal kit and that will probably not be good enough.

That is what I think. It has lost all pressure and will only raise lift arms very slowly part way up with nothing attached. Symptoms same as no oil. She is fitted with a loader and have noticed for a long time that she will not lift the weight she used to.

Surely all the 10 series Fords had a place for an auxiliary pump irrespective of the transmission type or maybe I'm wrong? There was a piston type pump and a geared one which is what Whitehouse have. Think it was around £185 plus vat and postage....
Edit....Just seen they have none in stock but 20 on order.....

They are the engine mounted pumps. Not sure if it could be converted but definitely an option worth looking at. I did think about adding one on the past to gain oil flow

Don't know how I got to engine mounted pumps when it clearly says transmission!!
We''ll try again,Part number 83936585.
CNH parts only lists one pump for the 4610 which is the same as this one.....

I checked Malpas on line and couldn't find it listed lol. The agriline one I was looking at but refers to not suitable for synchronised transmission so that is what has caused me to question the suitability. Interesting that CNH only list one pump.

I didn't see that bit originally on Agriline but looked at Bepco and it says the same. Vapormatic don't mention the synchro transmission and their pump is as the CNH part number too.Any numbers on your pump?

I haven't taken the pump off yet but the agriline number is the same as cnh so confused now

The number is usually stamped on a plate on the outside of the pump body.You might find a suction pipe strainer needs cleaned,when you take the pump off,although the parts list doesn't show one for the 4610,which I find strange too..........

Not that familiar with these but why should syncro transmission involve a different pump?

I don't see why either. It's not as if the pump is on the gearbox.

I can't understand why either. Looking at the cnh parts list the 4600 and 4610 but not the 4000 use the same pump so that makes me think the synchro is irrelevant. Also the cnh part numbers match the agriline cross reference. Now waiting for agriline to tell me when they will be in stock. Not convinced that it isn't a blocked pickup or faulty relief valve to be honest but don't want it out of use as currently using it with a trailer so hoping to get parts ready then strip

I would get the hyd pump flow and pressure tested first before buying a new hyd pump. As you previously posted the fault could be the pump or a prv.

Still waiting for agriline to get a date for when pumps in stock so not stripped it yet but have noticed that the lift arms drop completely when not running which again makes me question if the pump is running fine but the oil is being dumped somewhere internally. I had a decta that had an internal pick up pipe rusted through causing it so suck air so accept that anything is possible but am not really familiar with the hydraulic circuits on these.
