What is previous crop / cover crop?
It was winter beans last year, following with Linseed to hit the bg again.
It was scratched very, very shallow several times in the autumn to encourage bg.
Planned to be scratched early March, but due to weather and an operation I never managed it.
It had set like concrete this spring, I'm very happy so far.
Centurion max before very long, although with this rain we're getting this week it could stimulate more bg so not rushing to do it.
Yes, my linseed has just about met in the rows and todays rain should be pushing it along. So I now have to decide if its time for the BLW control or the Cmax. Im thinking the blackgrass while it is small is the one to hit, as we can usually bosh the BLWs even when a bit larger.

Impressed with your linseed. We had an almost complete failure with linseed last year. Drilled too early and too deep I think. Loads of slugs in the slot as well.
Did you put fert down the spout Mark?
No, liquid and solid urea in the seedbed though.

How’s it yielding. Mine looked a good even crop but capsules small with very little in them. Another disappointment of 2018.
