I know there are a lot of veriables, but would the rough cost be for a full respray?
Standard paint not two pack.
Could do it myself, but not sure I have the time.

What finish are you after
How much prep

If you want it grey red n silver then kindof 1-1500 ISH but she won't be pretty

Are you to strip it down and rebuild it
Does it need blasting etc

If you get it stripped and blasted

I'll pop down and give it a few licks of life for you

thanks for this, i have decided to do it myself, as more self achievement, ( i hope)
I will need to get a new spray gun, what is best to get. would rather get a decent one that will last and does a good job.

Get a pressure pot and remote gun. Large amount of paint and no gravity or suction pot to be at the wrong angle or bashing the work. Also just get a cheap suction gun for small bits.

We use devilbiss and iwata
I can get you decent iwata for about £160+vat and delivery very good guns
We can drive them ok very user friendly

Suction can lay more on but not very good at upside down work
Gravity the pots out of the way more features/models better all rounder I'd say
But that just my personal view
What's right for one isnt generally right for another

Some of the cheaper guns are very good, just keep them clean.
£20 for the gun and £5 worth of solvent to clean ........

A lot of the paint will never be seen again (undercoat) and they are ideal for that.

I use top loader gravity guns, only cheap Devilbiss replica guns from my local paint supplier, think they are around £50-60 mark, strangely enough some of the parts will actually fit a Devilbiss. When I did a lot of spraying working for a restoration company when younger I had Devilbiss but I wouldnt bother these days.
