I was quoted £255 for liberator the other day too.

Sparviero is 100g/l same as hallmark. Typed it in to google and it told me that it's Italian for Sparrowhawk. Not sure I can use it now as my Father hates sparrowhawks more than Jeremy Corbyn hates Jews!

clayton aspect (liberator equivalent) £245 for 5 litres. I dont think it has an EAMU for oats though.

if that's generic then its not cheap enough as TAG trials show liberator is 5 to 10% better blackgrass control

I'm afraid Pincer only has approval for the control of annual grass and broad-leaved weeds pre and post-emergence in winter wheat and winter barley.

No problems here last year with Pincer. Any formulation problems were fixed.
Was fixed a couple of seasons ago and the problem batch was all recalled - no problem at all these days, I had a tour of the manufacturing facility and it was very impressive

Please note, these are 200g/l DFF compared to Liberator, which is 100g/l. Their max individual dose is 0.3l/ha compared with Liberator at 0.6l/ha. In other words, you get half the Flufenacet with these compared to Liberator, very important if targeting grass weeds other than annual meadow grass!!

Liberator and Pincer both contain 100 g/l DFF and both have a maximum individual dose of 0.6 litres per hectare. Herold contains 200 g/l DFF, with a maximum individual dose of 0.3 litres per hectare.
