It was only a couple of weeks ago I was called out to clear a beech tree that was hit by lightning some years ago.View attachment 723288 View attachment 723290
Still got to go back and fell the rest of it this winter.
Needed extra length due to the height of the tree and I thought it better than rope Only me so just tensioned enough to stop tree falling wrong way. Cut down as two parts. Ratchet was double and wasn’t used for towing as such. Saved me from spending the rest of the day repairing the fenceRatchet strap and a chain, !!!!!!

Popped the pecker back on to break up the larger bits at the end. .how did it manage that big lump of h iron in the first pic?

Looks like she’s been retired a while!!
Today was all about mapping data tables to other data sources in a datahub based on aggregation and calculation, with single reference points and no daisy chaining.......................... my head hurts.

The problem we have is not knowing our costs. We get a fixed price per test from the Clinical Commissioning Group.
So if Test A costs £5.70 to do and we get £4.30 its bad.
Daily its like herding white cats in a snow storm....
