She drove into the yard in August 1986. Today she drove out for the last time...........
......32 years of sterling service. Fert/lime spreading, spraying, baling and power harrowing. The last 10 or 12 with a loader on, so in sort of semi-retirement.
No major problems - she's had a few clutches, an alternator or two, a few tyres, etc but she's still on the same block (actually we've never had a Ford with a porous block).
Considering the amount of salt blends she's spread, I didn't think the old lass looked too bad, although the mudguards have 'gone' and the door bottoms are starting to 'go'.
Apparently she's going to see out her last days in warmer climes, so they probably won't need the cold start button in the mornings
