Low disturbance Subsoiler legs

I am looking to redesign my subsoiler to have more legs but of the low disturbance type.

The cousins micro wing looks favourite at the moment but i'm not sure how well they wear as you have to replace the whole leg each time !!

What works well in a DD system ?

I will be looking to do something with my old shakerator that's much lower disturbance.
Thinking about some of those cranked legs that techmagri fit on some of their machines.
It's only 2.5m wide one so thinking half a dozen at most.
I'm actually hoping not to use it much at all, but want it sorted for if I do.

If that Techmagri version is anything like the Quivogne version we used to have, the points/wings are not cheap things to replace!

Nothing is cheap
Not planning on using it much.
But I take it on board, thanks.
I will look into different options.

I went for Tim Howard legs series 20 I think. I've got two sets of legs one very low disturbance and one with slightly more lift. Use it in front of DTS on compacted areas and it does a great job.

I’ve put these MDT low disturbance points in my sumo trio this year, I’m quite pleased with them and they’re not too badly priced either

A friend of mine up country brought a sumo LDS and put his osr in with it, he’s raving about it and the little disturbance it caused. He was running a trio though.

Another alternative very low dis sub soiler,
Quivogne SCD with a Guttler packer, the legs have tungsten tiles, we only use it now to take out old tramlines when we want to reposition them.

We get on very well with these, we chop the wings down just past the frog to get even less lift when drilling OSR.

How deep would you work these? Does it give a good pocket of loose soil behind the leg without bringing up clods?

Hard to say on clods as any tine cultivator on our clay brings up a clod if some discription. The LD legs are definitely miles better than the simba prolift or the he-va point we seed before that in terms on less disturbance. We run them at 550mm spacing and overall get on very well with them. For sowing OSR we run them about 150-200mm deep depending on the soil type and keep the forward speed up as that seems to make the soil flow better through the machine and makes less disturbance.

Fuzzy , look at twb 12 mm legs they take ld points and have 4 inch wing , bought an old cousins level lift and cut 6 legs and put twb bottoms on , spaced at 45 cm with cutting discs and razor ring packer with rings to match leg spacing , does a good job , and now they have worn back a bit and can see soil flow they are getting ferobide on them
