It wouldn't bother me should be fine unless it looks like it's on its kneeswill they be reliable after 9k as most for sale are around that sort of hours?
had drive of john deere 7810 auto quad great tractor, pulls well and simple controls to boot,have one that does no more than about 50hrs a year for past few years and is on 5k hours. Still runs like a new tractor. The beauty of these is they are well built and simple, ie no electrics etc
It was more evolution than revolution.
The biggest difference as mentioned before was the engine, 7000 series was 6.7 litre engine and the 7010 series was 8.1 litre. both are good engines, all be it more power from the 8.1. The latter 7010 series engines were common rail which are pretty reliable, so I wouldn't worry about that.
Front and rear axles/drive systems are pretty much the same. 7010 series introduced TLS, and they launched the autopower. Which isn't the ZF transmission but JD/Funks own and on the whole is more reliable. otherwise it has a Powerquad and there reliability is well known. Cabs are similar but the differences would be the same as the changes are between 6000 & 6010 series, such as cometic and a few more electronics in the 7010 but not too many.
Personally a 7810 50k is IMO one of the best tractors JD ever made. I wouldn't be worry about the hours. if its been properly maintained they'll go for another 10,000 hours.
classic tractor did interesting article about jd 7600 series,Pretty much as above. The hpcr 8.1 is a reliable unit.. Just as good as the 7810 mechanical pump. In saying that... Theres not a lot a difference between the late 7810 and 78/7920.. Few more electrics which all arent bad except the small blade fuse box and hydraulic pump is on the front of the transmission.
All are a good machine easily capable of 10k + hours. Worked on one with 19k the other week.

Im just waiting for someone to pipe up about blowing head gaskets!!. Which never happen on this machine. Ive seen them run on the red with 6mtr power harrows on all day and it never worried them.
A lot of local farmers are buying these at 10k hrs and tidying them up a little bit and just using them...
7800 I had, new August 93. Did over 100000 hrs. 19 speed power shift. Still as sweet with the hrs on. Used no oil bar a litre towards service time. Despite what some frustrated man child says on here about engines "hanging on". That would. Show it a hill with the plough and it would dig heels in, bark and carry on. old they are in their primewonder if anyone on here has any of the old deeres i used to drive years ago, we had a 7710, that was R889 YAV i think, my 6600 was P984 FFL, and the 6620 what replaced it was AEO4 HAU
