I’ve never had any Icebreaker thermals; they’d have to be good for the money!
In cold weather I use new Army Surplus stuff - cheap as chips and it keeps you toasty warm:

I also use army surplus Combat Thermal Undershirts:

Like a thin very warm fleece, with the zip designed so it doesn’t dig into your chin when it’s up.
Needed a sou’wester here yesterday barely stopped raining in 24hrs
...or a cold damp office.I put my Thermals on yesterday, they really are good at keeping one warm.
Do many of you wear Icebreaker thermal underwear,as if you don’t I can thoroughly recommend them, expensive but well worth the money if you work outside,or in a cold damp workshop.
