Seemingly ground based stations in UK overseas territories would help ensure full world wide coverage for the project.
Presumably we will develop our own system and continue the usual close cooperation with our 5 Eyes partners.

Airbus not too happy with EU over the whole thing.

Can't read the item, but I guess they wouldn't be as the Airbus factories in the UK were/are key players in the project and I suppose it will cost them to relocate all the work in to Europe. Silly state of affairs but that's Brexit for you.

Fear grips Élysée Palace as yellow‑vest protest grows

Headline in The Times. Should the UK government prepare to send in UK troops and prepare to evacuate UK citizens caught up in this terrible civil strife. Appalling what happens in these less democratic countries. :);)

There can be, depends on were the business is being done, whose paying taxes to what country and whose rules and regs you are working to.

You're not seriously saying business is going to pay EU taxes and social charges when they can pay their dues in the UK .
I'll bet you would sooner have your accounts based here if it were possible .

Why? corporate tax is far lower in many European counties Hungary 9%, Ireland 12.5% even Germany is only 15.9%

MSA need not be a problem at all with forward planning. You spent long enough looking at farms here Howard, you must know how to use the system:greedy:. Of course, if your business is turning over more than quarter of a mill per partner then the options are closed somewhat

We looked at lots of farms ,including yours . :)
Unfortunately most of the farms the EBE or whatever they call it was shite , I'm too old to be poor again sadly , much as I like a challenge.
Also we dont do isolee , which can be an issue for the family .

Who knows, but if there's suddenly tariffs on a lot of stuff plus non-tariff barriers it's going to hurt short/medium term particularly given the short preparation time. Longer term it could be alright, of course
do farmers look at things short term ? so why as a country would we do the same, long term in the EU we would be looking at an EU army, a joint foreign policy, one tax rate universal interest rate and medium term a united states of europe, all those are stated goals for those at the top of the EU, it could not work, look at France right now and think what would happen if that policy was eu wide

Can we do deals with other countries in the EEA , ie Norway ,
Not bothered about free movement as they're not coming now since welfare tightening anyway .

My hunch is that the EU might drift apart into more of a free trade area anyway.
