We've come across this before and you can't blame the RPA for this. Banks have been known for putting blocks on what they see as dormant accounts. They see it as part of their anti corruption vigilance. If anyone has an unusual account that's used to receive BPS it's worth checking the bank have it open for business.

Thats spoton what it was Guy.
Plus if a transaction inst made into the account on the same day as they remove the block it then locks again by the end of the business that day.
What is stranger is the fact when the RPA does an online IBAN check it comes up with an error yet there is nothing wrong
with all my account details whatsoever. fingers crossed it just go's thru by today or tomorrow.
Its something by the time id made the last call back to the RPA which was poss the 10th time id rang them late yesterday
afternoon i was on a 1st name basis with the lad who took my 1st call the day before & had nothing but sympathy for my
issues.

My Bank however iam not happy with at all for not advising me about such a block in the 1st place.

Just checked online banking again - due in tomorrow.

Big relief having had a remote sensing inspection this year and a few field sizes changing. Had fears this would cause lengthy delays.

You’ve done ok then, when we had the remote sense 18 months ago it took while May to get paid

Makes me wonder had I submitted an RLE1 form for the changes they suggest on the remote sensing would my claim have been delayed.....yet their remote sensing is defaulted as “right” (whereas my RLE1 would need validating) so didn’t cause delay.

Can anyone try and log on to the claim status page as it seems to be down / wont open for me . thanks

Edit, its let me in now, cheers.
