Spring barley Australia

Well we sprayed today, nice cool conditions, but, but! The sprayed had large droplet size foe anti drift as its pretty much compulsory now, f*ck it all, and i reckon it will burn. The fungicide was oily i reckon.

Anyway went on with 110litres of water so see what happens.

I hope some crop stands back up? It blody better!!

Im havin a scotch, im tired of work.

Pics of stuff that will have 1000 heads sqm.

The later developed areas picking up nicely.

Looks a great crop. Good to see not all of Australia fudged with drought. I see your using fungicides! Our other antipodean friends won't be happy.

If you believe the experts on here that don't put in tramlines it will all stand back up and yield same as rest of field, ripening the same too!

Hope you've given it pgr!

Most times here the trams will stand enough to ripen and fill, i will be on the deck as straw is sold.
It probably didnt need fungacide but will see.
No pgr....could have but crop not even enough in growth stages.
Drought, ive heard of this term, i think it means dry weather??? We dont really get that here except when its meant to in peak summer.

Cheers Ant...

It takes us 90 days to ear emergence usually
This yr it was nearer 60
Is that amount of rainfall normal for december?

Barley getting some height, 1 spot gone over double sown...hmmm

I need a better variety with increased head size
