Do you think a JD 6145R(145hp) would cope with the 3.45m SR? Our land is not particularly heavy, we do have some slopes. There is a 2nd hand one for sale locally but there seem to be a range of opinions on hp required. Don't really want to change tractor
I've got a 4m SR on a JD6195 and it goes very well
On that basis the 6145 could cope with a 3m then?
We had a MF 6290 on a 3 metre SR but was much better on a 7489 with weights out on front linkage. As said it's a fair lump.
Could I mention that I have a four metre Hybrid available here.
No we have gone to a front tank and rear toolbar ClaydonWhat are you changing to, zero till??
As deep as you want but realistically 130 mm before moving too much soil around. Not as deep as the Hybrid but not that you would want to go any deeperHow deep can the leading tines on an SR go?
